Last night, the mayor of Dubrovnik, Mato Franković, lit the first candle on the Advent wreath in front of the Duke's Palace, and then the holiday lighting on Stradun, which officially started the 11th Dubrovnik Winter Festival!

The opening ceremony was embellished by a procession led by the Majorettes of the City of Dubrovnik, the City Music Dubrovnik and Santa Claus from Lapland, accompanied by little Santas and elves from the Dance Studio Lazareti Dubrovnik.

The musical part of the program was enriched by the mixed choir Libertas, the klapa of the Luka Sorkočević Art School and the Dubrovnik Children's Choir.

After the ceremonial opening, the energetic Jelena Rozga performed at Stradun, and for the next 37 days, numerous musical, entertainment and gastronomic events await you, and the highlight of the festival will be the spectacular New Year's Eve with Zuccher and Tony Cetinski!
